Oil prices hit new six month high | Saudi King says fair oil price is 75 - 80 dollars

On Friday, In New york the oil prices rise to 62.54 $ dollars per barrel which is the new six month high, infact most highest prices in 2009 while in London's Brent North Sea crude for July the prices were jumped to 61.24 dollars after an increase of 1.03 dollars.

On the other hand, The Saudi King Abdullah published remarks that the fair price is 75 dollars and infact 80 dollars is more suitable as of now due to the economic crises, Saudi Arabia which is the top oil exporter hopes for increased prices in oil and expecting a stabilize and profitable price of oil.

So what everyone think, what will be the price of oil on this year end ?

The difference between petrol and cng is now less than 20% : Pakistan

Following a decrease in petroleum prices after the supreme court orders, the difference between the price of petrol and cng is now of less than 20% . The current difference is around Rs8.21 or 17 percent. These poor policies have a negative impact on the cng industry, but cng dealers in bid to increase their sales have seen giving discounts to keep their sales stable.

Auto sales fall by 50 percent : Pakistan

Due to the economic slowdown, poor policies, lack of interest by government in this sector, continuous devalutation of rupee and several other factors, the sales of automobiles have been reduced by 50 percent in the first ten months of 2008-2009 business year.

ECC allowed Ethanol-10 as motor fuel

The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Federal Cabinet has decided to allow marketing of Ethanol-10 as motor vehicle fuel on trial basis at PSO stations. 

This decision was done under the meeting which was chaired by Shaukat Tareen, Advisor to PM.

What i personally think that it will be a good idea to introduce it, but i think since it's only 10% so i don't think that it will be very cheaper as compared to other fuels but hey! let's hope for the best

Government reduced petrol prices by Rs1.45 / litre : Pakistan

After the orders of Supreme court, the government of Pakistan have finally decided to reduce the petroleum prices

The new prices are as follows

Petrol : Rs56.21

Diesel :: Rs55.71

Hi -Octane :  Rs70.38
